Together with for African women

insieme ad per le donne africane

A special collection with Amref Health Africa for women’s rights

Until March 8, we’ll share the reality of women’s lives in four African countries: Tanzania, Kenya, Ghana, and Madagascar. Tough realities, where rights exist more on paper than in real life.

We’ll do it because, through our work, we strengthen women’s role as protagonists of development, recognized by their communities. And we’ll do it with Amref Italia, which since 1987 has been committed to women’s empowerment and the fight against gender discrimination.

Founded in 1957 in Kenya, Amref Health Africa is Africa’s largest health nonprofit organization. It promotes health, training, and access to services so communities can grow and build their own future.

Amref supports women’s empowerment by fighting female genital mutilation, protecting maternal health, and promoting education and access to clean water—so women can determine their own futures and become agents of change.
